Our Puppet Workshop is a anti-bullying program designed all ages. The puppet workshop includes: an interactive puppet show, identifying, addressing, then changing patterns of conflict, learning how our words and actions affect others, and a craft project. Each child has a chance to make their own "Kindness Puppet" to take home! Supplies included in the price. Students love this workshop!

Short for improvisation. Great for all ages. This workshop includes guided icebreakers and acting games. Students are shown the power of their individual creative ideas and how to work and collaborate with others, all while building their confidence and public speaking skills. This not only offers guided focus for the most extroverted students, but often also makes space for even the most shy to find their unique voice!

This is an educational, inspirational and interactive program that is also very exciting and fun. The program begins with a brief introduction about classic toys from long ago. Students will learn about events from the past and why these selected toys were invented. This introduction is an important step in the creative process and helps to establish the skills necessary to transform their ideas into something more. Next, basic principles for inventing a toy are discussed then tested out each student invents their own board game. Supplies included.

This workshop is offered as a series of 6 or more hour long classes. Proficiency in writing required, but otherwise for all ages. This series of classes is best done as a once a week class over the course of 6-10 weeks. The students will write their own one acts with assistance from a teaching director, and then will perform their pieces for friends and family on the final day. They will learn story elements and composition, all while building confidence and teamwork skills. Contact the Museum for residency fees.
