Founded in 1999 by Marlene Hochman, the nonprofit Toy Museum of NY has captivated and educated students across New York City and beyond through its innovative virtual programming. Teachers and children alike have enjoyed live performances and engaged in hands-on workshops, where imagination and play are at the heart of fostering cultural diversity and creativity. An accredited educational institution chartered by the University of the State of New York Education Department, the Toy Museum of NY is also a registered charity and an approved vendor for the New York City Department of Education. 

About Marlene Hochman:

Marlene Hochman is Founder and President of The Toy Museum of NY. 

She is widely celebrated for her role as Queen Marlene of The Toy Museum, a fun and educational new children’s video show that she not only stars in but also produces. Through engaging storytelling and rich educational content, the show brings the fascinating world of toy history to life.  

Her hope is to empower children with the confidence to invent ideas for the future—ideas that have the potential to leave a lasting impact on the world for generations. After all, children are the inventors of tomorrow.
