" The History of Toys" is a 50 minute show produced by the Museum for young audiences. Performances are held in theaters in Brooklyn, NY. The show is interactive and great for preK-4th grade audiences. It integrates the history of toys over time with American History and the Presidency of the U.S. in particular. The program presentation is supported by aligned curriculum, including pre- and post-show activities and information and service evaluations. Performances are year round. Tickets are $9 for students, $10 for adults and discounts for teachers.

Starting in 1999, the not for profit Toy Museum of NY (TMNY) has entertained and educated over 100,000 students. Teachers and children have seen the live shows demonstrate how dolls and toys carry important human values through history. Imagination and play are a critical part of diverse cultural successes.
